In addition to the cluster command-line interface used for scheduling batch jobs\, SHARCNET provides a virtual de sktop interface. This interface can be accessed via the web site or a VNC client and is intended mainly for pre- and post-processing data with grap hical applications.

This talk will cover what virtual desktop infras tructure is available\, how to connect via the web\, how to connect via a VNC client\, and how to use the resources. Particular emphasis will be pl aced on performing visualization.
