The webinar will explain the concept of Cloud Computing and introduce the users to SHARCNET cloud. It will give a brief introduction to Openstack as a platform and will focus on the usage of the SHARCNET cloud. It will give details on how to apply for an account on the SHARCNET cloud and how to create VMs (Virtual Machines; ephemeral and persistent) and how to access those VMs.

SHARCNET account is not required to attend the webinar. If you don't have a SHARCNET account, you don't need to register for the webinar - just follow the webinar link right before the webinar.
