Date: 25 March 2020 @ 12:00 - 13:00
Timezone: Eastern Daylight Time
Language of instruction: English
Topic: "Introduction to scalable computing with Dask in Python (Continued)"
Speaker: Jinhui Qin, SHARCNET

Continuing from where the previous webinar left off, this seminar will introduce Dask dataframe and Dask-ML. Dask dataframe is for scaling Pandas dataframes. It is helpful in situations where Pandas is needed but datasets do not fit into memory of a single machine. Machine learning applications usually involve heavy computations, Dask-ML has resources for parallel and distributed machine learning.
SHARCNET account is not required to attend the webinar. No registration is required.
