OpenFOAM is a free\, o pen source CFD software package produced by a commercial company\, OpenCFD Ltd. It has a large user base across most areas of engineering and scienc e\, from both commercial and academic institutions. In this webinar I will provide an overall introduction to OpenFOAM\, and will talk about install ation\, setting up an example run\, submitting a job to a queue\, and chec king the results using Paraview\, in the context of SHARCNET. This seminar is mainly aimed at OpenFOAM beginners but some of the more advanced topic s will also be covered.
