This introductory session is designed to help researchers quickly and confidently begin using UBC ARC’s computing resources. Participants will learn how to access and manage resources through the ARC Access Management Portal, including how to request new allocations and manage users within a project.

The session will then walk through the essentials of getting started on an high‑performance computing (HPC) cluster, before introducing ARC OnDemand: ARC’s web‑based platform that provides simple, interactive access to high‑performance computing resources on Sockeye.
