Format Policy Registries (FPR) outline the capabilities and the actions that digital preservation programs undertake on files in their holdings. FPRs are common in archival repositories\, but they are le ss prevalent in data repositories.
In this session\, we will cov er why the FPR and its accompanying strategy were created\, the journey we took to get to the FPR launch\, and future developments we would like to implement. We also welcome feedback and questions from those in attendance so that we may make the FPR a resource that can be used by the wider rese arch data community.
The format for the session will be a presentat ion followed by a discussion and question period. This session will not be recorded\; presentation slides will be available to attendees.
