urse is designed for researchers who want to take their high-performance c
omputing (HPC) workflows to the next level. Whether you&#39\;re new to lar
ge-scale computing or looking to optimize your current practices\, this co
urse will guide you through the key steps to efficiently scale your applic
ations on HPC systems.</p><p>Participants will begin by identifying their
specific applications and learn how to properly compile their code for HPC
environments. The course covers essential topics including running intera
ctive sessions\, performance tuning\, and efficient batch job submission-c
omplete with practical script examples. You&#39\;ll also explore strategie
s for checkpointing\, monitoring job progress\, and effective debugging te
 chniques.</p><p>Through a combination of lectures and hands-on exercises\,
this course offers real-world insights into improving performance\, reduc
ing run times\, and making the most of shared computing resources. By the
end\, you&#39\;ll be equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to run s
calable\, reliable\, and efficient HPC workflows.</p><p>TEACHERS: Jaime Pi
nto (SciNet\, University of Toronto) and Sergey Maschenko (SHARCNET\, McMa
 ster University)</p><p>LEVEL: Introductory</p><p>FORMAT: Lecture + Hands-o
 n</p><p>CERTIFICATE: Completion</p><p>PREREQUISITES: None</p></html>
