  Data Availability Statement (DAS). Because of this requirement\, the impo
 rtance of publishing research data in a data repository and obtaining a pe
 rmanent URL\, such as a digital object identifier (DOI)\, is becoming incr
 easingly important. This workshop introduces the guiding principles of dat
 a publishing. During this workshop\, you will learn:</p><ul><li>How to pre
 pare your data for sharing and long-term access</li><li>How to select a da
 ta repository that meets your needs</li><li>A brief overview of the data d
 eposit process for York’s institutional research data repository\, York 
 University’s Dataverse\, will also be provided.</li><li>This workshop wi
 ll be taught by the Libraries’ Research Data Management team and is part
  of the Libraries&#39\; programming for International Love Data Week 2026.
