We’re excited to relaunch the ORCID-CA Co mmunity Call series! Whether you are an ORCID member or curious about beco ming one\, join us for this special event on March 12.
To mark th e occasion\, we’re delighted to welcome Sabrina Kirby (Research Technolo gy Analyst)\, Jack Young (Research Impact Librarian)\, and Jay Brodeur (D irector\, Digital Scholarship Infrastructure &\; Services ) from McMast er University Libraries to share their ORCID Success Story\, revisiting th e very first use case ever presented as part of our regular community cal l series\, back in August 2020.
Six years later\, we reflect on h ow their ORCID journey has evolved\, what they’ve learned along the wa y\, and the insights they can now share to the community.
They will present how ORCID has been integrated into institutional systems\, initiatives\, and workflows\, and the value it provides for aspects of res earcher profiles and promotion\, research impact analysis\, and institutio nal reporting. The presentation will close with a preview of upcoming work \, some thoughts about future opportunities for ORCID in the institutional context\, and discussion questions for the audience.
This rela unch offers a renewed opportunity to connect\, exchange ideas\, and streng then our national ORCID network. Join fellow members from across the count ry as we celebrate how far we’ve come and look ahead to what’s ne xt.
