This workshop is designed for researchers and trainees who are moving beyond basic command-line usage to managing a dedicated lab server or workstation. The goal is to introduce you to a set of practical commands used to monitor and troubleshoot a Linux system. Topics include filesystem usage, account management, processes and services, logs, package management, and networking. Participants should be comfortable navigating the Linux terminal and executing basic commands. Those wishing to follow along should have access to a Linux environment (physical or virtual).
