h-level programming language\, Fortran continues to be used today for high
-performance computing in many fields. It has evolved over the years\, and
modern Fortran provides implicit parallelism (array expressions)\, explic
it parallelism (coarrays)\, and object-oriented features\, among other thi
ngs. It supports the MPI\, OpenMP\, and OpenACC parallel programming stand
ards. The primary aim of this course is to help you understand and modify
existing Fortran code\, but would also be useful if you wish to start a ne
w project in Fortran. You should have prior experience with some other pro
 gramming language\, but this is otherwise a beginner-level course.</p><p>T
