CO Summer School S2: Multicore parallel programming (OpenMP)

In this session, lectures and hands-on labs are interspersed, and the students will learn the basics of shared memory programming with OpenMP. In particular, we will discuss the OpenMP's execution and memory model, performance, reductions and load balancing. Basic Linux and C/C++ knowledge will be assumed.

Compute Ontario Summer School is a series of online courses on Advanced Research Computing, High Performance Computing, and Research Data Management. It runs from June 12 to June 29, 2023. The courses are delivered each workday from 9:00am to 4:30pm (EDT) with a lunch break, in two parallel streams. You can register for any number of courses. Registration is free.
